KISSY SELL OUT'S ALBUM PREVIEW SHOW!!

Privileged to be invited I got myself down. I mean how could I not attend.

So the album is due to be released just before the summer on Kissy Sell Out’s own record Label called San City High. The album took a whole year to make and apparently it’s all about Kissy’s childhood in Essex. I can’t wait to hear more, Let The Music Play!!

After going around the block and asking a number of peeps myself and Petal finally find the venue, running fashionably late we are just in time, 8.15pm the show starts.

Most definitely an intimate affair, Kissy addresses us with a warm welcome. He introduces his band mates Danimal Kingdom (the "be kissy friend, be kissy foe" singer!)And his drummer slick sticks, chic Aicha. Take a look…

The energy on stage was BIG.

Danimal Kingdom writes and sings his own songs, recently featured in Dazed and Confused Magazine he is a talented soul such a sweety. I ♥ these Essex Boys.

Time was ticking on and i have still not seen Kissy for a quick chat and a photo :(

However i did meet his mum, she was lovely :)

Big night anyway, it was really cool to hear some of Kissy’s tunes before the majority…I feel special. For those of you who have to wait until it’s released I’m sure you will be extremely impressed with his new material... It blew my mind anyway!

WEDNESDAY 25TH FEB = THE FASHION SHOOT

It’s here. It’s come. It’s the big day.

Working under pressure has never been so much fun.

So the day begins at 7.30am the Lupo is loaded and ready, I’m on the road to pick up my model Nadina followed by meeting the troops at the designated spot.

9.30am we are all on the road convoy styleee wooo hoo

10.15am we arrive at the hotel, working quickly we unload and wait for assistance.

10.30am we have the Sanderson Suite as our main dressing room which is perfect. 3 floors = lots of space yay

As soon as we settle in, I have a quick run through the brief with the rest of the team. Everybody understands we have a lot to get through so time was precious! Tee has advised me he will need at least 30min on each model for makeup, so in the mean time I’m sorting through the outfits and checking out the rooms with my lovely photographer Grace.




12pm Heather my first model is ready. First collection is Bridal Wear look how sexy she looks!

1pm Nadina is ready she is looking sexy too

2pm- 8.45pm we did 5 lingerie collections the girls worked really well together I was so pleased! All outfits looked fabulous.

9pm-10pm it’s getting late but the team is still going on strong!! We shoot our final corsetry collection which looked something like this:

10.30pm All packed up and we hit the countryside roads back to the shire!

1am I get to my bed what a long day I am sooo tired, another action packed day tomorrow though ahhh NO REST for the wicked.

Overall I had a fantastic day! I’m blessed to find such good people in such a short period of time and I can not stress how much I appreciate what they have all done for me, it’s been ACE!

Big shouts going out to Catherine at Cookie West who provided me with the lingerie (she’s so lovely), Josephine La Vey for her fabulous corsetry collection all steel boned and custom made (she is incredible), Moda in Pelle for shoes and finally Stapleford Hotel for having us.

MY HAIR @ CHAPLINS

Last Tuesday I went to visit the main man Michael Stamp (AKA Mikee) at Chaplin’s Hair Couteau. Recommend by a dear friend, the result was as expected amazing! Mikee worked his magic I ♥ it!

Certainly proving to be a cut above the rest, Chaplins strive to keep in touch with the people, while providing a quality service in a relaxing atmosphere.

I would highly recommend it boys and girls, the tunes are always BANGIN!

I'M BACK!!

It is fair to say I have had a pretty hectic week, so apologetic for the lack in blogging I have had just no time at all RUBBISH I know! Anyway I’ll have you all updated by today.

Running around preparing and shopping for the shoot it's a hard life being a stylist he he i love it.
