It’s so darling I adore you John Galliano..

A fabulous collection that would make any girl weep sweet tears of joy....inspired by the palette of Dutch painter Vermeer and the aristocratic silhouettes of Van Dyck, as well as the historic archives of Dior, these are the type of clothes you can only dream of. Yesterday The Dior Haute Couture Show in Paris presented us with a collection only to be described as Dramatic and theatrical.

Simply divine the full fifties skirts came suitably clinched at the waist, cascading into sea blue ripples, anchored by swags of folding fabric or beribboned and garnished with bows. The Architectural sleeves were offset by flamboyant and feathered hats (expecting nothing less)Finally the washed-out tulip prints – reminiscent of antique china - danced around dainty waists of ivory strapless ball gowns, it looked beautiful.
What is more about this show that not many people will know.. The last eight looks are taken from the Couture Collection of 1947. However these dresses of 1947 have been made from inside out for 2009…just to show you how perfect the construction of a Couture dress is. AMAZING.

"There's a credit crunch. Not a creative crunch....It's our job to make people dream."
John Galliano… absolute genius!

LET’S START DREAMING LOVERS...REMEMBER YOUR THOUGHTS BECOME THINGS***
