ORSCHEL-READ LFW SHOW

This show was amazing; I loved everything about it! Ingenious fashion designer Stefan Orschel- Read presented a well structured tailored and shapeless street wear punk collection which was incredible to the eye.

Before the show started Stephan held an etiquette meeting backstage. Not something that you see designers do all the time but defiantly a good look I thought. Stephan took the time to thank everybody in his team, advised models they should eat and that we should all have fun! Some designers definitely need to take a leaf out of his book, a little love and appreciation does not kill anyone these days, especially when we are all working so hard!

Anyway so I was assisting stylist Alexis Knox, I couldn’t really take any photographs back stage but I have a few snaps of my favourite pieces from the collection:

Captivating fabrics were utilized in this collection, including: leather, green snakeskin for the jackets and trenches, checkered and striped cotton for the tops and pants, and even jersey neutrals for the draped pants.

Stefan completely incorporated a fresh and inspiring take on geometric structure; it was a pleasure to work with such a true and inspiring artist. Thank you Stefan for having me x x
