MOUTON COLLET

These two Belgium designers caught my eye today.
Based on a long friendship and inspired by the tradition of a country landscape Mouton Collet, new jewellery range for men pushes the boundaries of preconceived notions of menswear. As avant garde necklaces create obtuse angles in mind bending shapes, intricately carved pigs heads stare back from delicate gold chains while menacing beetles climb from lapel to shoulder. With a dry humour and fetishist elements in their styling, Mouton Collet has produced an inspiring collection for men; perhaps one that unsuspecting customers will find stolen by their jealous girlfriends, eager to flaunt such an unusual style. A interview can be found over here, if your keen to know more.
