Yesterday marked 25 years since Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean electrified the nation when they struck gold at the Winter Olympics. Today i caught their documentary on ITV1 which i found extremely interesting, what a story if you've not seen it i highly recommend it! Their fluid, sensual ice dance to Ravel's Bolero on Valentine's Day 1984 was watched by more than 24 million people.
I felt extremely emotional when i saw this performance it's magic! Dean described it as a "bit of a Romeo and Juliet story", adding: "It was two people that couldn't be together and this was their last dance." i can't stop watching it!! check it out below:
